Welcome to your skin & soul time — i’m so glad you’re here!

Whether this is your first visit or your tenth, this page is your guide to making the most of your appointment. Below, you’ll find helpful prep tips, aftercare instructions, & everything you need to know to feel comfortable & confident before you step into the studio.

Before your appointment

It’s more than just skincare—it’s self-care.

Thank you for booking with Skin & Soul Esthetics! To help you feel confident, comfortable, and get the best results from your service, please review the following instructions before your appointment:

General Guidelines (All Services)

  • Arrive on time. Please arrive 5 minutes early so we can start promptly and give you the full time you deserve.

  • Feeling sick? If you’re experiencing any symptoms of illness (even mild), please reach out to reschedule. Your health—and mine—comes first.

  • Clean skin. If possible, arrive with a clean face and no makeup, especially for facial or brow/lash services.

  • Avoid caffeine at least 2 hours prior—it can increase sensitivity.

  • Hydrate well the day of your appointment for optimal skin response.

  • Come solo. Due to limited space and to maintain a peaceful environment, please do not bring guests or children.

Facials

  • Avoid exfoliating (scrubs, retinols, acids) for 3–5 days prior to your appointment.

  • Pause active skincare products like retinoids or benzoyl peroxide for 48–72 hours beforehand.

  • If you’re on medications like Accutane or have had recent injectables/peels, please inform me before booking.

  • Bring a list (or photos) of current skincare products if you’d like personalized recommendations.

Waxing (Face & Body)

  • Let hair grow at least 3 weeks since your last shave or wax—about the length of a grain of rice.

  • Gently exfoliate 2-3 days before (not the day of!) to help prevent ingrown hairs.

  • Avoid lotions, oils, or self-tanner on the area the day of your service.

  • No tanning, intense workouts, or hot showers 24 hours before or after waxing.

  • For body waxing: Wear loose, comfy clothing to your appointment.

Brow & Lash Services

  • Arrive with clean lashes/brows (no makeup, moisturizer, or oils).

  • Avoid waterproof mascara and lash serums for 48 hours prior.

  • Discontinue use of retinoids, AHAs, or strong exfoliants near the eye area for 3–5 days before.

  • If you’ve had allergic reactions to tints or perms in the past, please let me know.

After your appointment

Studio policies

  • Please arrive with a clean face if you’re receiving a facial or lash service.

  • Guests, children, & pets are not allowed in the treatment room.

  • Payment is due at the time of service — I accept Cash, Card, ApplePay, & CashApp.

  • Gratuity is appreciated but never expected. the best way to support my small business is by leaving a review or sending a referral my way. Your kind words mean more than you know & help me grow far beyond what a tip ever could

Cancellations + reschedules:

  • Life happens — I totally understand! all I ask is for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. This way, i can offer your spot to another client who may be waiting.

    ✨ if late cancellations happen 3 times, prepayment will be required to hold your next appointment.

No-Shows:

  • Not showing up without notice makes it hard for me to serve everyone fairly.

    ✨ Because of that, after just 1 no-show, prepayment will be required for all future bookings.

  • This isn’t about being strict, but about respecting each other’s time so i can continue to create a stress-free space for you & every client who walks through my door.

Running Late?:

  • Please send me a quick text if you’re running behind. I’ll always do my best to work with you, but depending on timing, we may need to shorten or adjust your service.

  • Arriving More than 10 minutes late without communication may be treated as a no-show.

Feeling Sick? Please Reschedule:

  • If you’re experiencing cold, flu, stomach bug, or COVID symptoms, please reschedule — even if it’s last minute.

  • If you arrive visibly sick, i may need to reschedule your appointment for the safety of myself & other clients.

Age Requirements:

  • Clients under 18 must have a parent or guardian present during services. Some treatments may be limited to clients 18+. Feel free to reach out if you’re unsure.

Photos + Videos + Social Media:

  • I love sharing transformations & results, but only if you’re comfortable! You’ll have the chance to opt in or out on your consent form.

  • Nothing will ever be shared without your permission.

  • I’m here to make things easy & comfortable — no judgment, ever. 🌿

  • Skin & soul esthetics is located upstairs on the right inside grace salon suites in the main entrance of the building, not the left side. Once inside grace salon suites, i am down the left hall, suite 213.
